QIASBEK ǴALYMJAN QIASBEKULY

Master of Historical Sciences, Senior Researcher of the Department of Archaeology of the Era of Stone and Paleometal.

Born March 21, 1976 in the village Baiseit, Almaty region (Enbekshikazakh district). In 2000 he graduated from the Faculty of History, Archaeology and Ethnology of KazNU named after Al-Farabi; in 2002 he graduated from the magistracy of the Faculty of History, Archaeology and Ethnology of KazNU named after Al-Farabi; doctoral student of the A.Kh. Margulan Institute of Archaeology (2018-2021). The topic of the dissertation study is "GIS in the study of archaeological sites of the Early Iron Era of East Kazakhstan", the supervisor is A. Ongar.

Scientific interests: Saka, topography and cartography of burial grounds, large "tsar" mounds, GIS, art and mythology of the early nomads.
