Dear Colleagues!

Institute of Archaeology after A.H.Margulan of CS MES invites you to participate in the International scientific and practical conference "Kazakh Khanate in the flow of history", dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate.

Dates of the Conference from 18 till 21 May 2014

The conference is expected to conduct by the following areas:

Kazakh khanate  as a stage of the statehood of the Kazakh people
- Archaeology of Kazakhstan and adjacent territories by periods:
- stone age;
- bronze epoch;
- Early Iron period of antiquity;
- The city and the Steppe in the Middle Ages;
- The cities of the Kazakh Khanate - history of the study and the results of the research;
- Interdisciplinary research in archeology;
- Problems of protection and use of historical and cultural heritage.

Conference languages are Kazakh, Russian and English.

By the beginning of the conference is planned to publish collection  of materials.

By the publicationa manuscripts are  accepted in electronic form. File name is the name of the author (for text files - Kaсеналин_Текст.doc; for illustrations - Касеналин_рис1.jpeg).

The volume of text no more than 10 typewritten pages(including references and black and white illustrations). Text editor: MicrosoftWord, font: Times New Roman, 14pt,  in 1 interval; field: left - 3 cm, top - 2cm, right-1.5 cm, bottom - 2cm; drawings in a format jpeg, at least 300dpi. Illustrations, charts  and diagrams  are black and white, without color or gray elements and small (solid)  fills. Captions and tables  by illustrations are served by a separate text  file. You can create tables and charts in Excel  in Times New Roman by font size 10 cpi (A4).

Do not: make a tab; highlight words by discharging  (between words, signs should be only one space);  separate paragraphs by an empty string; use the commands executed in the automatic mode (insert footnotes to the literature, hyperlinks and notes, marking and numbering of paragraphs, and so on.);  use macros, save the text as a template and with the installation of "read-only";   format text and make forced transfers. These units must comply with the measurement system.
References in the text to figures, tables and publication in parentheses : (Pic. 1 , 3, 2 , 1), (Table 1), ( Kasenalin , 2010, p . 47, pic.1, 1)

At the end of the article is given the list of references in alphabetical order and resume.
For  articles in Kazakh Resume is submitted in English and Russian. For  articles in Russian is Resume is given in Kazakh and English. Resume includes the name and initials of the author, the  title of the article, the text.
Volume of the text Resume is not less than10 lines (font size 12pt).
