Candidate of Historical Sciences, Leading Researcher of the Department of Archeology of the Era of Stone and Paleometal of the A.Kh. Margulan Archaeology Institute.
She was born on January 04, 1972 in the Almaty region. In 1995 she graduated from the History Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh State University. She continued her studies in full-time graduate school of the A.Kh. Margulan Archaeology Institute (1996–1999).
In 2010, she defended her thesis on "A.Kh. Margulan – an archaeologist" (scientific tutors are M. Eleuov, Zh. Kurmankulov).
Since 1991, A. Manapova took part in the work of a number of archaeological expeditions of the Almaty Novostroechnaya; Kazakh-American expedition; and Central Kazakhstan expedition.
For nine years (2013–2021) she served as a deputy director for science at the A.Kh. Margulan Archaeology Institute.
The scientific results of A. Manapova are published in the materials of republican and international conferences and scientific collections. Currently, the main areas of scientific activity of A. Manapova are issues of the history of archaeological study of Kazakhstan, including the analysis of the scientific heritage of the founder of national archeology – A.Kh. Margulan.
